Mens Senior Team

Our Senior Men’s team competes in league and championship competitions within the Hertfordshire GAA County. The squad welcomes players of all abilities, from experienced footballers to those new to the game, with training focused on fitness, skills, teamwork and match preparation.

Off season training: Thursday’s 8-9pm at Oxford United Training Ground OX4 2RN (starting 18th February 2026). Hydrox sessions on 8th of February and 8th March at OX29 6XH.

Regular training: Tuesday and Thursday’s 7pm at Horspath Sports Ground OX4 2RR (starting 31st March 2026)

Matches: Weekends (occasionally week nights) starting from March 2026. Competing within Hertfordshire GAA County

Ladies Senior Team

Our Senior Ladies’ team competes within the Hertfordshire LGFA County and continues to grow in strength and participation. The team provides a supportive and inclusive environment for players of all experience levels, with sessions designed to build skills, confidence and match readiness.

Youth Teams

Our youth section focuses on fun, skill development, teamwork and introducing children to Gaelic football in a positive, safe and encouraging environment.

Open to boys and girls
Multiple age groups, Nursery program (<5s), Under 7s, Under 9s, Under 11s, Under 13s, Under 15s and Under 17s.
Emphasis on enjoyment, coordination and basic skills
Training: Starting the year with all age groups (U7-U15), Saturday 28th Feb, 1-2pm

All youth training sessions are delivered by dedicated coaches, with DBS and safeguarding checks. Player welfare and enjoyment is always the top priority.

Hurling

Éire Óg Oxford hurlers compete with St Declan’s, a hurling team made up of players from across Hertfordshire.

Founded in 2014, the team compete in the London hurling championship.

They welcome players of all experience levels to train, with regular sessions often held in areas like Aylesbury and Watford.

The club has also initiated efforts to develop camogie in the region. 

University Team

Éire Óg Oxford has strong links with Oxford Universities Gaelic football. The team includes players from Oxford University and Oxford Brookes University.


Oxford Universities Gaelic football training is currently taking place on Sundays, 10am in Cowley Marsh Park (OX4 2HH).
